【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverstheselectionoffuelsforgasturbines,exceptinggasturbinesusedinaircraft,fortheguidanceofinterestedpartiessuchasturbinemanufacturersandthesuppliersandpurchasersoffueloils.Thespecificationsetsforththepropertiesoffuelsatthetimeandplaceofcustodytransfertotheuser.Threeappendixesareprovidedforinformationalpurposesonlyanddonotconstitutearequirementofthisspecificationunlessmutuallyagreeduponbetweentheinterestedparties.AppendixX1describesthefivegradesofgasturbinefuelscoveredbythisspecification.Further,itstatesthesignificanceofvarioustestmethodsusedininspectingthefuels.AppendixX2discussesthesourcesoffuelcontaminantsandnotesthesignificanceofsuchcontaminantsintheoperationofgasturbinesandgasturbinefuelsystems.Theparticularsignificanceoftracemetalsingasturbinefuelsisnoted.Upperlimitsoftracemetalsarerecommendedforthevariousgradesofgasturbinefuels,buttheserecommendedlimitsdonotconstitutearequirementofthespecificationunlessmutuallyagreeduponbytheinterestedparties.Limitationsduetotheuseofusedorrecycledoilarealsonoted.Note1-ThegasturbineoperatorshouldconsultPracticeD4418formethodsofensuringfuelsofadequatecleanlinessandforguidanceonlong-termstorageofdistillatefuelsandonliquidsfromnon-petroleumsourcesasgasturbine.Note2-Nothinginthisspecificationshallprecludeobservanceoffederal,state,orlocalregulationswhichmaybemorerestrictive.Note3-Thegenerationanddissipationofstaticelectricitycancreateproblemsinthehandlingofdistillategasturbinefueloils.Formoreinformationonthesubject,seeGuideD4865.
